Most chocolate packaging is sold in fixed sizes that were drawn for somebody else's pieces. Ours starts the other way round. You tell us how many chocolates go in a box and how big one piece is, and we draw the box, the insert and the lid to fit. Truffles sit in round cups, painted bon bons sit in trays formed to the mould, fudge sits in a divider grid, and nothing rattles.

Every box is printed with your own artwork in food-safe inks, outside and inside the lid if you like. You see it all on a free design proof before a single sheet is printed.

Who are our chocolate boxes for?

We print for chocolatiers and pastry chefs, bakeries with a truffle cabinet, cafes and farm shops that make their own bars, cocoa bomb makers selling online and at markets, fudge makers, and companies sending chocolates to clients and staff. Some order a single style for one product. Others order a full set of packaging for a whole range.

What chocolate packaging do we make?

Sixteen products across four ranges. The everyday range covers custom printed boxes, boxes with inserts or dividers, window boxes and inserts on their own. Bar packaging covers printed wrappers and sleeves, envelopes and bar boxes. The truffle and bon bon range adds pyramids and hearts. The gift range covers gift boxes, rigid boxes, hot chocolate and cocoa bomb packs, and brownie and fudge boxes.

How much do chocolate boxes cost?

Card chocolate boxes start from £0.25 a box. The exact price depends on the size, the insert, the finish and the quantity, and it comes back on your quote by email within one working day. Rigid boxes, built from thick board wrapped in printed paper, are quoted higher than the card starting price.

Minimums are low and quoted per job, so a first run for a new collection or a market weekend is welcome. There is no checkout and no payment on this site; you see the price before anything is agreed.

How do you size a chocolate box?

Measure one finished chocolate across its widest point and from the base to the top, in mm. Decide how many go in each box. That is enough for us to draw it. As a guide, a twelve piece box of 25 mm truffles in a 4 x 3 layout is typically about 200 x 155 x 30 mm, and a four piece box of 30 mm truffles is about 105 x 105 x 30 mm.

We leave a few millimetres of air above the tallest piece so the lid never touches piping or dusting. Our guide to chocolate box sizes by piece count explains where every millimetre goes.

Card or rigid: which board suits your chocolates?

Printed card folds flat, so a large order takes little room until you need it. It suits counter boxes, posted boxes and most gift boxes, and it takes matt, gloss, soft touch and foil finishes. Rigid board is thicker and wrapped in printed paper; it arrives made up, feels solid in the hand and is the box people keep.

Allow 4 to 6 working days in production for card, or 8 to 10 for rigid, once the proof is approved.

Which finish makes chocolate packaging look its best?

Matt gives a calm, papery look and takes handwritten labels well. Gloss deepens colours and wipes clean. Soft touch feels velvety in the hand and suits gifts. Foil on the logo adds a metallic line that catches the light on a shelf. Many of our customers combine soft touch with a foil logo for gift boxes and keep matt for everyday ranges.

Delivery, proofs and putting things right

Delivery is free and tracked to UK mainland addresses in 2 to 3 working days, and we deliver to UK addresses only. If your chocolates are filled by another maker, we can send the empty boxes straight to them.

Every order starts with a free design proof, and nothing is printed until you approve it. If boxes arrive misprinted or damaged, tell us within 10 days of delivery and we reprint them or refund you. You can call, email or message us on WhatsApp during office hours, Monday to Friday.
